About the Position
This full-time, permanent position will commence in Term 2, 2025 and involves teaching PDHPE across Years 7–12. The successful candidate will be passionate about promoting student wellbeing, physical development, and health education. This role offers the chance to join a dynamic team with access to excellent facilities and to contribute to the school’s co-curricular and sporting programs.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned PDHPE lessons to students in Years 7–12

  • Promote health, fitness, and student wellbeing through both classroom and practical learning

  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, adhering to safeguarding practices

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support holistic learning

  • Actively contribute to co-curricular sport and wellbeing initiatives within the school

Requirements
  • Applicants must be respectful of the Christian ethos of the school and supportive of its values-based educational approach

  • Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NESA accreditation

  • Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
