About the Role

This full-time, ongoing position commencing Term 2 involves teaching PDHPE across Years 7-12. The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned programs that promote physical literacy, wellbeing, and lifelong healthy habits. Working alongside the Head of Sport and a supportive faculty, this role suits a team-oriented educator who values relationships and thrives in a small-school setting.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned PDHPE programs across Years 7–12

  • Promote student wellbeing, safety, and active participation in all learning environments

  • Use assessment data to inform planning and differentiate instruction

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to co-curricular sport programs

  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families


Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for NESA registration

  • Experience teaching secondary PDHPE

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
