About the Position
This full-time OSHC Coordinator role focuses on supporting students from Transition to Year 4 within a structured and engaging Outside School Hours Care environment. The successful candidate will work within the Early Learning Centre during the morning before transitioning into non-contact preparation time during the middle of the day, followed by leading the OSHC program in the afternoon. This role suits an organised, proactive educator or childcare professional who enjoys building strong relationships with young children and creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment beyond the classroom.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise the OSHC program for students from Transition to Year 4.
- Support students within the Early Learning Centre during morning sessions.
- Ensure student safety and wellbeing, maintaining safeguarding and supervision standards at all times.
- Develop engaging activities that support social, emotional, and recreational development.
- Communicate effectively with families, staff, and the wider school community while contributing positively to the team culture.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications or experience in Education, Childcare, OSHC, or Early Childhood.
- Hold or be eligible to obtain relevant NT registrations or clearances where required.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
