HARKE Recruitment is proud to partner with a unique independent school in Western Sydney to appoint a full-time Music Teacher commencing Term 3 or 4, 2025. This role offers a rare opportunity to teach both primary and secondary students in a school that nurtures academic growth, cultural identity, and spiritual awareness. If you also have the ability to teach Visual Arts, that would be a welcome bonus—but it’s not essential.


About the Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Music lessons across both primary and secondary levels, with the opportunity to shape creative programs and support performance-based learning. The Ideal Candidate

  • Confident teaching Music from primary through to secondary levels

  • Skilled at engaging students across a range of ages and abilities

  • Flexible, creative, and open to contributing to a values-based school culture

  • Ability to teach Visual Arts is a plus, but not required


Must-Have Requirements

  • Current NSW teaching registration (NESA) or eligibility to obtain it

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Willingness to provide 2–3 references and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet child safeguarding requirements
