HARKE Recruitment is proud to partner with a forward-thinking independent school located in South-East Brisbane to appoint a part-time Music Teacher. This permanent role will begin at 3 days per week, with strong potential for growth as the music program develops. The school is known for its supportive community, student-centred approach, and commitment to fostering artistic expression alongside academic success.

About the Role
This position will see you teaching primarily across the primary years while also leading and developing secondary choirs, bands, and ensembles. You’ll be part of a collaborative team with the opportunity to shape a growing music program, create exciting performance opportunities, and inspire students to discover the joy of music.

– Confident teaching music across primary years, with capacity to extend into secondary
– Strong musical background with ability to lead ensembles and choirs
– Energetic, personable, and passionate about inspiring students
– Collaborative and committed to building a thriving music culture

Must-Have Requirements
– Current Queensland teacher registration (or eligibility to obtain it)
– Full working rights in Australia
– Willingness to provide 2–3 references and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet child safeguarding requirements
