About the Role
This full-time, 12-month contract position commencing Term 2, 2026 involves teaching Music and Religious Education across Years 7-12. The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned programs that foster creativity, performance skills, and a deeper understanding of faith and values. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to both classroom learning and the broader cultural and spiritual life of the school.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Music and RE programs aligned with curriculum requirements
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment focused on student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress and engagement
- Collaborate with staff to develop engaging and differentiated learning experiences
- Contribute to co-curricular activities, performances, and faith-based initiatives
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for NESA
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
