Are you ready to lead with impact in a high-performing, student-centred team?

HARKE Recruitment has partnered with a leading independent school in Melbourne’s inner south to appoint a passionate and experienced Middle Years Maths Faculty Coordinator. This ongoing role combines leadership, teaching, and real influence in a collaborative and well-respected campus community.

About the Role
This opportunity is more than just a step up, it’s a chance to shape curriculum, mentor others, and work closely with school leadership in a setting where your voice is valued. With a small team of 3, including one accelerated Year 9 Maths class, you’ll teach across Years 7–9 while leading with energy and clarity.

Direct access to senior leadership, above-award salary (including a generous PoR), and the possibility for long-term growth across the school’s broader multi-campus structure make this role ideal for someone who’s ready to contribute, grow, and be heard.

What You’ll Enjoy
  • Leading a capable and committed Maths team in a school known for strong academic outcomes and down-to-earth values

  • Above-award salary up to $143K (inclusive of PoR).

  • Close collaboration with a dedicated Head of Middle School and wider leadership team

  • Clear scope for career development across a dynamic multi-campus setting

  • A warm, hard-working, and inclusive culture where impact is expected and supported

The Ideal Candidate
  • A confident Middle Years Maths educator with leadership experience or strong leadership potential

  • Values inquiry-based teaching and can engage students in meaningful, real-world learning

  • Builds strong relationships with adolescents and contributes positively to a team culture

  • Is flexible, open to collaboration across subjects (Humanities experience a plus), and driven to raise standards

Whether you're currently in a coordinator role or ready to step into one, this is a genuine leadership opportunity in a school that will invest in your success.
