About the Position

The school is seeking a passionate Media (Film, TV, Drama) teacher to join the team from Term 1, 2026. The successful applicant will deliver engaging and contemporary programs across the secondary years, supporting students to develop creative, technical, and critical skills across film, television, and drama. This role suits an educator who is confident in their practice, values collaboration, and enjoys fostering creativity while building strong relationships with students.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Curriculum: Plan and deliver high-quality Media, Film, TV, and Drama programs aligned to curriculum requirements

  • Safeguarding: Promote student wellbeing and uphold Child Safe Standards

  • Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with students, staff, and families

  • Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to support creative and cross-curricular initiatives

  • Leadership: Model best practice and contribute positively to the school’s values and culture

Requirements

  • Registration: Current QCT registration or eligibility to obtain

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

  • Safeguarding: Ability to provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s safeguarding process
