About the Position

The school is seeking a dedicated Media Arts Teacher to teach Years 7–10. Beginning in Term 1, 2026, this role is available as a permanent or fixed-term contract. The successful applicant will bring creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom, inspiring students to develop practical media skills alongside critical and analytical thinking.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Media Arts lessons for Years 7–10

  • Create opportunities for students to explore creativity, collaboration, and digital storytelling

  • Foster strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues

  • Contribute to co-curricular programs and cross-faculty collaboration

  • Support the development of innovative teaching within the Arts faculty

Must-Have Requirements

  • Current Queensland teacher registration (or eligibility to obtain it)

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Willingness to provide 2–3 references and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet child safeguarding requirements
