About the Role
The College is seeking a full-time Mathematics Teacher to join its team from Term 1, 2027.
The teaching load will range from Year 7 Mathematics through to VCE Vocational Major (VM) Numeracy/Mathematics, making this a great opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working across junior and senior secondary year levels.
The successful teacher will bring strong curriculum knowledge, effective classroom management and the ability to make Mathematics accessible and engaging for students with a range of abilities.
Skills and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons.

Teach Mathematics across secondary year levels, including Year 7 Mathematics and VCE VM Numeracy/Mathematics.

Differentiate learning to support students with a range of abilities and learning needs.

Develop students’ confidence, numeracy skills and practical application of Mathematics.

Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and classroom practice.

Collaborate with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider College community.
Requirements

Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain VIT

Relevant secondary teaching qualifications

Ability to teach Mathematics across junior secondary and VCE VM

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Willingness to support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of the College
