About the Role

This full-time position ideally combines Maths, Science and VCE Biology, with the school seeking one teacher who can cover the combination where possible. There is flexibility for the right candidate if they cannot teach across all areas. The school is particularly interested in experienced teachers with strong pedagogy and the ability to engage students effectively, while outstanding graduate teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Maths and Science lessons, with the opportunity to teach VCE Biology.

• Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive classroom practice.

• Use effective pedagogy and strong student engagement strategies to support learning and achievement.

• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning, assessment and student progress.

• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum planning, professional practice and the broader P-12 school community.

Requirements

• Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

• Relevant teaching qualifications with the ability to teach Maths and/or Science

• Ability to teach VCE Biology is highly regarded

• Experienced teachers and outstanding graduates are encouraged to apply

• Full Australian working rights - sponsorship is not available

• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE's safeguarding onboarding
