About the Position

This full-time position involves teaching Mathematics and Science across Years 7–10, with a focus on Year 11 Mathematical Methods. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that challenge and support students across a range of abilities. This is a replacement role and will be managed with discretion. The school is seeking a teacher who can step confidently into the program and maintain strong academic standards.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver curriculum-aligned Mathematics and Science programs across Years 7–10, including Year 11 Mathematical Methods.

  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment aligned with safeguarding and welfare expectations.

  • Use data-informed practice to differentiate instruction and monitor student progress.

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support learning outcomes.

  • Contribute to collaborative planning and faculty initiatives to strengthen teaching and learning.

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
