About the Position

This full-time role will commence in Term 3, 2025, and involves teaching Maths and Science to students in Years 7 to 10. The position is fixed-term for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team dedicated to fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and student growth across the STEM curriculum.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Maths and Science lessons for Years 7–10

  • Ensure student safety and wellbeing in accordance with safeguarding policies

  • Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues to support learning outcomes

  • Work collaboratively with faculty to enhance teaching programs and student engagement

  • Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration.

  • Work Rights:  Hold suitable working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
