About the Position
This full-time role will commence in Term 3, 2025, and involves teaching Maths and Science to students in Years 7 to 10. The position is fixed-term for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team dedicated to fostering curiosity, analytical thinking, and student growth across the STEM curriculum.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Maths and Science lessons for Years 7–10

Ensure student safety and wellbeing in accordance with safeguarding policies

Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues to support learning outcomes

Work collaboratively with faculty to enhance teaching programs and student engagement

Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking
Requirements
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration.
- Work Rights: Hold suitable working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
