About the Position

This full-time, ongoing position will commence at the start of Term 1, 2026. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Years 7–12, contributing to a vibrant and supportive learning community. You’ll have the opportunity to engage students in developing problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and confidence in applying concepts to real-world contexts.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across Years 7–12

  • Foster curiosity, persistence, and growth in students’ mathematical learning

  • Use data-informed strategies to differentiate teaching and support achievement

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and assessment practices

  • Participate in co-curricular and pastoral initiatives that enrich school life


Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration

  • Full Australian working rights

  • A strong passion for Mathematics education and student success

  • Commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and wellbeing

  • Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
