About the Position

This full-time short-term position will run from 7th September to 18th September 2026. The successful teacher will teach Mathematics across Years 7, 8 and 9, alongside VCE Foundation Mathematics Units 1 & 2. This opportunity would suit a confident Maths teacher who can step into an established program, maintain classroom routines and provide continuity of learning across the two-week contract.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum-aligned Mathematics across Years 7–9 and Foundation Mathematics Units 1 & 2.

• Follow existing curriculum, assessment and teaching programs.

• Maintain strong classroom management, student wellbeing and safeguarding expectations.

• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues and relevant school staff.

• Collaborate with the Mathematics faculty to ensure continuity throughout the contract.

Requirements

• Registration: Candidates must hold current VIT registration.

• Work Rights: Full Australian working rights are essential.

• Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
