About the Role

The school is seeking a Mathematics Teacher to commence in Term 3, 2026 through to the end of the school year. This is a full-time position with a complete Mathematics teaching load, including Year 11 classes.

Based at the school's co-educational campus in Western Suburbs, the role offers the opportunity to work with students across a range of year levels while contributing to a supportive and collaborative faculty. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Mathematics programs that promote academic growth, problem-solving skills, and student confidence.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
• Teach Mathematics across a range of secondary year levels, including Year 11
• Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing, and classroom management
• Communicate professionally with students, colleagues, and families
• Collaborate effectively within the Mathematics faculty and broader school community

Requirements

• Current VIT registration or eligibility to obtain
• Relevant qualifications with the ability to teach Mathematics
• Full Australian work rights
• Commitment to supporting Catholic education and contemporary pedagogy
• Ability to provide two professional referees
• Completion of HARKE onboarding requirements relating to safeguarding and compliance
