About the Position
This role involves teaching Mathematics across a range of levels including Year 8 to 9 Maths, Year 10 Advanced Maths, and senior classes including Year 11 to 12 Mathematical Methods. It suits an educator who is confident across multiple year levels and can deliver structured, high-quality lessons within a disciplined and supportive learning environment.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics curriculum across junior and senior year levels, including Methods
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices and support student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and academic outcomes
- Demonstrate leadership in the classroom through structured and engaging teaching
Requirements
- Registration with VIT or eligibility to obtain
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience teaching senior Mathematics, including Mathematical Methods
- Applicants must be practising Christians and able to provide a pastoral reference
- Ability to provide two referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
