About the Role
A well-regarded independent school in Central Queensland is seeking a passionate and capable Mathematics Teacher (Years 7–12) to commence in Term 2 on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity to teach across junior and senior secondary Mathematics within a supportive and academically focused faculty. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, rigorous lessons that foster strong numeracy skills, analytical thinking and confidence in mathematical problem-solving.
Teachers with experience teaching senior Mathematics subjects are highly regarded, though applications from teachers confident across Years 7–10 are also encouraged.

Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Secondary Mathematics teacher (Years 7–12)
- Strong curriculum knowledge and ability to teach senior Mathematics subjects
- Ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
- Strong classroom management and relational teaching skills
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
- Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration, or eligibility to obtain it
Must-Have Requirements
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Full Australian working rights
- Willingness to undergo relevant safeguarding and child protection checks
