About the Position
This role involves teaching Mathematics across junior and middle secondary year levels. The current allocation includes Year 8 Mathematics, three Year 9 Mathematics classes, and Year 10 Core Mathematics, alongside Learning Mentor responsibilities. The position is suitable for graduate or experienced teachers with Mathematics teaching experience and offers a full-time, ongoing opportunity commencing in January 2026.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver curriculum-aligned Mathematics programs across Years 8–10

Support student learning, engagement, and progress through effective classroom practice

Fulfil Learning Mentor responsibilities, supporting student wellbeing and pastoral care

Maintain student safety and welfare in line with safeguarding requirements

Collaborate with teaching teams and contribute to whole-school priorities
Requirements

Registration with, or eligibility for, the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School, or willingness to work towards accreditation
