HARKE Recruitment is partnering with an Independent school to support them in appointing full-time Mathematics Teacher for a Term 3 start. With a curriculum focused on acceleration and depth, this role is ideal for a teacher who thrives on subject mastery, innovation, and meaningful learning.
About the Role
You’ll teach advanced Mathematics across Years 10–12 in a setting that mirrors university-level expectations. Students enter in Year 10 and complete Year 11 curriculum that same year, with class sizes limited to 6–8 to allow for rich, conceptual instruction. The timetable runs from 8am to 4pm and includes generous planning time — approximately half your load — to support deep curriculum work and collaboration with peers.
The school operates with a flat staffing structure, where all teachers are paid equally and work closely to evolve programs year-on-year. Many staff come from industry or research backgrounds and value the school’s focus on subject rigour and academic freedom.
