About the Position
This full-time role involves teaching Mathematics and Science within the secondary school commencing in either Term 2 or Term 3, 2026 depending on candidate availability. The school is flexible regarding timetable structures and year level allocations, with teaching loads determined collaboratively throughout the interview process. The successful teacher will join a supportive faculty focused on delivering engaging learning experiences while promoting student wellbeing and maintaining a balanced teaching environment.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Science lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices and support positive student wellbeing outcomes
- Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding academic progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practice
- Contribute positively to faculty initiatives and the broader school community
Requirements
Registration: Must hold or be eligible for VIT teacher registration

Safeguarding: Ability to provide up-to-date referees, current employment history and complete safeguarding requirements
