About the PositionThe college is seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Learning Area (Mathematics) to lead the Mathematics faculty from January 2026. This is a middle leadership role combined with a permanent teaching position at the college.
The successful candidate will oversee curriculum leadership, faculty development, and high-impact teaching practice within the Mathematics department, while working closely with the broader leadership team to support the strategic direction and growth of the school.
Key Responsibilities-
Lead and develop quality teaching and learning within the Mathematics faculty

Support teachers through mentoring, coaching, and collaborative planning

Oversee curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and data-informed improvement

Promote a culture of academic excellence and student engagement in Mathematics

Contribute actively to school-wide initiatives, strategic planning, and extracurricular programs

Model and support the ethos and values of Catholic education
