About the Position

The school is seeking a Maths and Physics Teacher to join on a full-time ongoing basis commencing Term 2, 2026. The role involves teaching Mathematics and Physics across the secondary years, supporting students to develop strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of scientific concepts. The successful teacher will contribute to curriculum planning and work collaboratively within a supportive faculty.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver Mathematics and Physics curriculum in line with the Victorian Curriculum
• Uphold safeguarding practices and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding progress and outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and enhance student learning
• Contribute positively to faculty initiatives and the wider school community

Requirements

Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration.

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
