About the Role

This leadership role focuses on learning and coaching, working closely with staff to strengthen teaching practice and improve student outcomes. The position involves coaching teachers to refine their classroom practice, embed high-impact teaching strategies, and build consistency across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing staff capability, supporting data-informed teaching, and leading professional learning aligned with whole-school priorities.

This role suits an experienced and confident educator who is committed to coaching others, driving improvement, and contributing to a positive and accountable teaching culture.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Lead instructional coaching to support teachers in improving classroom practice
  • Maintain a focus on safe, inclusive learning environments that support student wellbeing
  • Use student data to guide teaching improvement and support staff development
  • Collaborate with leadership and teaching teams to implement whole-school strategies
  • Deliver professional learning and coaching that builds staff capability and consistency

Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration
  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
  • Recent Australian teaching and leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading teaching practice
  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
