About the Position
The Learning Leader – Mathematics leads the Mathematics Learning Area, driving curriculum development, innovative pedagogy, and program evaluation. This POL 2.5 role combines teaching responsibilities with leadership and has oversight of Mathematics programs across Years 7–12.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Drive curriculum development and program design in Mathematics.

• Oversee assessment and ensure alignment with VCAA requirements.

• Support teacher growth through coaching and feedback.

• Use student data to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

• Model and embed best practice in Mathematics teaching across all levels.

Requirements

• Registration: Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or eligibility.

• Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.

• Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding process.
