Learning Diversity Leader (with Teaching Load)

Salary Range: $80,000–$118,000 plus super + $9,500 PoL Allowance

About the Position

This full-time role, commencing in Term 3, 2025, offers an exciting leadership opportunity for an educator with a passion for inclusion and differentiation. The Learning Diversity Leader will support and guide the school’s approach to personalised learning, working closely with families, staff, and a team of internal specialists. The successful candidate will also teach a mainstream subject area, balancing their leadership responsibilities with a strong classroom presence.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and develop Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs) for students requiring adjustments or additional support.

  • Liaise regularly with families, ensuring collaborative planning and communication.

  • Schedule and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including those linked with NDIS services.

  • Collaborate with in-house therapists and specialists to implement targeted interventions.

  • Support classroom teachers in curriculum modification and inclusive practices.

  • Lead professional learning in inclusive education across the school.

  • Maintain a teaching load in a mainstream subject area, modelling best practice in inclusive teaching.


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
