About the Role

This full-time leadership position will commence at the start of Term 1, 2026. The Languages Domain Leader will provide strategic direction and leadership across the Languages faculty, with responsibility for curriculum development, staff mentoring, and program innovation. The successful applicant will also teach VET Italian and one additional class, requiring current qualifications and the ability to deliver both VET and TAE components effectively. This is a leadership-focused role suited to an educator with strong organisational, communication, and instructional leadership skills.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Lead the Languages faculty, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

• Oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and improvement across all language programs.

• Teach VET Italian and deliver TAE components, ensuring high-quality, compliant delivery.

• Support staff professional learning and development within the domain.

• Contribute to whole-school initiatives, faith formation, and the broader life of the College.

Requirements

• Registration with, or eligibility for, Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

• Qualification and experience in teaching VET Italian and TAE

• Full Australian working rights

• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding
