About the Position
This permanent, full-time position involves teaching Science across the secondary years, with flexibility to focus on Junior Science or to specialise in Biology and Environmental Science. The role sits within a collaborative faculty and suits an educator who is passionate about engaging students through practical, inquiry-based learning and strong curriculum delivery.
Skills and Responsibilities
• Deliver curriculum-aligned Science programs, including Junior Science and/or Biology and Environmental Science
• Uphold safeguarding and child-safe standards in all professional practice
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate within the Science faculty and contribute to whole-school initiatives
• Support leadership of learning and continuous improvement practices
Requirements
• VIT registration or eligibility to obtain
• Full working rights in Australia
• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding steps
