About the Role

This full-time leave replacement position involves teaching English and Drama across Years 7-9. The role focuses on delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that support literacy development and creative expression. The successful teacher will contribute to a supportive faculty, foster positive classroom environments, and maintain continuity of learning during the leave period.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging English and Drama lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
  • Support student wellbeing by maintaining safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environments
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with faculty members to ensure consistency and continuity of learning
  • Contribute to a positive school culture and support broader school initiatives

Requirements

  • Registration with or eligibility for the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Full Australian work rights
  • Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
