About the Position
This part-time role involves teaching Japanese across the secondary years on a 0.64 FTE load. The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned language programs that promote cultural understanding and language proficiency, while working collaboratively within a supportive languages faculty.
Skills and Responsibilities
• Deliver curriculum-aligned Japanese programs across the secondary years
• Uphold safeguarding and child-safe standards in all professional practice
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate within the Languages faculty and contribute to whole-school initiatives
• Support leadership of learning and continuous improvement practices
Requirements
• VIT registration or eligibility to obtain
• Full working rights in Australia
• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding steps
