About the Position

The school is seeking a full-time Italian Teacher for an ongoing position, ideally commencing in Term 4, 2026. The successful teacher will deliver engaging Italian programs and support students to develop their language skills, cultural understanding and confidence.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Italian Teacher seeking the security of an ongoing position within a supportive Catholic school community.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Italian programs aligned with Victorian curriculum requirements

• Support students to develop their Italian language skills and cultural understanding

• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, student wellbeing and inclusive classroom practice

• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues

• Collaborate with faculty colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community

Requirements

• Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

• Relevant secondary teaching qualifications

• Ability to teach Italian within a secondary school setting

• Willingness to support the Catholic values and ethos of the College

• Full Australian working rights

• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding process
