About the Position

The school is seeking a full-time Italian Teacher for Term 1, 2027 to cover a period of long service leave. The position will focus on teaching Italian across Years 7–10.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Italian lessons across Years 7–10.
• Maintain strong standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and classroom practice.
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with Languages colleagues on curriculum planning and assessment.
• Contribute positively to the school community throughout the fixed-term appointment.

Requirements

• Current VIT registration or eligibility.
• Relevant qualifications and capability to teach secondary Italian.
• Full Australian work rights.
• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding.
