As a Saturday sport school, staff are expected to actively support the co-curricular life of the College and contribute positively to the wider school community.
The successful teacher will demonstrate genuine support for the Catholic ethos of the College and a willingness to engage in the faith and community life of the school.
About the Role
The College is seeking an Italian Teacher for Years 7-10 to replace a current teacher who has accepted another contract opportunity. The position can commence immediately or from Term 3, 2026 and can be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis through until the end of the 2026 school year.
The school is seeking a capable and engaging educator who can build strong classroom relationships, deliver contemporary language learning programs, and contribute positively to the broader school community.
The College would prefer to meet shortlisted candidates in person where possible.

- Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Italian lessons across Years 7-10
- Foster a positive, inclusive and academically focused classroom culture
- Support student wellbeing and pastoral care within a Catholic school setting
- Differentiate learning to support a range of language abilities and learning needs
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, leadership and families
- Contribute to the broader co-curricular life of the College, including Saturday sport commitments
- Participate actively in professional learning and curriculum development initiatives
Requirements
- Current or eligibility for VIT registration
- Full Australian working rights
- Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos and wider school community
- Willingness to contribute to Saturday sport and co-curricular expectations
- Two professional referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding
