About the Position

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Italian and RE Teacher to join the team on an ongoing basis commencing Term 3, 2026. The role involves teaching Italian and Religious Education across Years 7-12 while supporting students in developing cultural understanding, communication skills, and faith formation. This opportunity would suit an educator who values relationship-based teaching, structured curriculum delivery, and contributing positively to a vibrant Catholic school community.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Italian and Religious Education programs across Years 7-12
• Support student learning, wellbeing, and engagement through inclusive classroom practice
• Foster cultural understanding, communication skills, and faith development
• Establish continuity and structure within Italian and RE curriculum programs
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives

Requirements

• Registration with, or eligibility for, the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
• Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School, or willingness to work towards accreditation
• Full Australian working rights
• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
