Italian and French Teacher

HARKE has partnered with a well-established Catholic secondary school in Melbourne’s north-east. This 0.68 FTE position will commence in Term 4, 2026 and involves teaching Year 7 French and Year 8 Italian . The successful teacher will be confident teaching both languages and able to step into established programs while maintaining strong classroom routines and student engagement.

• Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Year 7 French and Year 8 Italian.

• Follow existing curriculum, assessment and teaching programs.

• Maintain strong classroom management, student wellbeing and safeguarding expectations.

• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues.

• Collaborate with the Languages faculty to support consistent student learning.

• Registration: Candidates must hold current VIT registration.

• Work Rights: Full Australian working rights are essential.

• Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
