About the Position
This short-term contract position will see you teaching Italian and French to students across Years 7-10. The role commences at the end of Term 2 -30th June 2025, and runs until the 8th of August 2025. The successful candidate will step into an organised program, delivering engaging lessons across both languages while ensuring continuity for students during this period. Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Italian and French for Years 7-10.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Ensure student wellbeing and safety in line with school safeguarding policies.

Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.

Collaborate with the Languages department to ensure consistency in learning outcomes.
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) Registration.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
