About the Role
This full-time contract position commencing Term 2, 2026 involves teaching IT across the secondary years. The role has arisen due to unexpected staff leave, with the opportunity for the position to transition to a permanent role. The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons while contributing to a collaborative faculty and supporting students’ learning and development.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality IT lessons aligned with the curriculum across Years 7-12
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment focused on student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents regarding progress and learning outcomes
- Collaborate with staff to support curriculum development and whole-school initiatives
- Contribute to faculty and school activities, demonstrating initiative and professionalism
Requirements
- Registration with or eligibility for ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)
- Full Australian work rights
- Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
