About the Position
This full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026 is a specialist Secondary Inclusive Education role. The successful candidate will support approximately 5 to 7 high-needs students through line management, co-teaching and case coordination. The role involves supporting literacy and numeracy intervention, wellbeing strategies and the implementation of individual learning plans. The teacher will facilitate inclusive classroom practices, support student transitions across year levels and programs, and work closely with staff and families to ensure tailored support is delivered effectively. The school welcomes applicants with direct Inclusive Education experience as well as teachers seeking to develop in this area who demonstrate strong commitment and capability.
Skills and Responsibilities
• Design and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons and targeted interventions to meet diverse learner needs
• Uphold safeguarding practices and prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students
• Maintain clear and purposeful communication with students, staff and families to support collaborative case management
• Work closely with teaching teams to co-plan and co-teach inclusive learning experiences
• Demonstrate leadership in managing individual support plans and coordinating student transitions
Requirements
Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QCT Teacher Registration.
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
