About the Position
This newly created full-time role will support the Head of Inclusive Education and work directly with Senior School students, with a particular focus on VCE special provisions and adjustments. The role includes:

0.45 FTE Inclusive Education (Years 7–12)

0.55 FTE Classroom Teaching (ideally in Junior Music, but can be flexible)

Conducting and managing VCE special provision processes and exam accommodations

Supporting NCCD evidence collection, ILPs and compliance requirements

Providing targeted literacy and numeracy support, both individually and in small groups

Working with classroom teachers to guide differentiation and inclusive practice

Collaborating with wellbeing staff, parents, and external professionals to support student needs

Contributing to professional development for teaching staff related to inclusive education

The ideal candidate will:

Bring strong experience working with secondary students with diverse learning needs

Have confidence managing VCE special provisions, documentation, and assessment adjustments

Demonstrate a collaborative, relational approach with students, staff and parents

Be a confident communicator who can advocate for students and build team capacity

Have strong systems-thinking, organisation, and attention to compliance requirements

Be willing to contribute to school life beyond the classroom (camps, events, co-curricular)
Requirements
- Registration: Must hold or be eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Work Rights: Full Australian working rights
- Safeguarding: Two referees required and must complete HARKE’s onboarding and safeguarding process
