About the Position
This full-time ongoing position, commencing in Term 1, 2026, offers a unique opportunity for a teacher passionate about Inclusive Education. The teaching load will include a small series of intervention classes, enabling the successful candidate to deliver targeted support to diverse learners.

Importantly, this role provides the chance to shadow and work alongside the college’s highly experienced Learning Diversity Leader, who is transitioning to retirement over the next few years. This structured mentorship will allow the successful applicant to build capacity in Inclusive Education leadership and deepen their knowledge of evidence-based practices in a supportive setting.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective intervention classes that support diverse learners.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to create inclusive strategies that enhance student success.

  • Demonstrate commitment to supporting students with additional needs through evidence-based practice.

  • Work alongside the Learning Diversity Leader, gaining valuable insight into leadership within Inclusive Education.

  • Contribute positively to the wider school community, upholding the school’s Catholic values.

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
