About the Position
This full-time position involves teaching Humanities and Geography to students in Years 7 to 10, commencing in Term 3 and continuing through to the end of the academic year, with a strong view to an ongoing role in 2026. The school is seeking a passionate educator who can bring the curriculum to life, foster student engagement, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Humanities and Geography lessons for Years 7–10

  • Promote student well-being and active participation in a respectful and inclusive classroom

  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

  • Collaborate with the teaching team to support academic and pastoral programs

  • Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm in supporting the school’s values and vision

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
