About the Position
This full-time fixed-term role involves teaching Humanities across Years 7–10 alongside a pre-Business pathway course. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop critical thinking, inquiry skills and an understanding of the world around them while introducing foundational business concepts and future career pathways.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver Humanities curriculum across Years 7–10.
- Teach and develop a pre-Business studies program.
- Foster student engagement through inquiry-based learning.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, families and staff.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and faculty initiatives.
Requirements
- Registration: Must hold or be eligible for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
