About the Position
An exciting opportunity is available for a Humanities Teacher to join the school immediately. This full-time contract runs until the end of the 2026 academic year and involves teaching Humanities across Years 7–9. The successful candidate will join a collaborative faculty committed to delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences while supporting students to develop critical thinking, inquiry, and global citizenship.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Humanities lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum for Years 7–9.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and achievement.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Collaborate with teaching teams to develop curriculum, assessment, and learning programs.
- Contribute positively to the broader life of the school and uphold its values and expectations.
Requirements
- Hold current VIT registration or be eligible to obtain registration.
- Have full working rights in Australia.
- Be able to provide two professional referees and complete HARKE's safeguarding and onboarding requirements.
