About the Position

This full-time position, commencing in Term 2, 2025, involves teaching Humanities and English across secondary year levels. The successful candidate will inspire students to engage in meaningful discussions, develop strong literacy skills, and explore historical and contemporary issues.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in English and Humanities for secondary students.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment, adhering to safeguarding policies.
  • Encourage critical thinking, writing proficiency, and research skills in students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support academic success.
  • Collaborate with peers on curriculum planning, assessments, and school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

  • QCT registration or eligibility to obtain.
  • At least 2 references from your most recent employers.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
