About the Position
The school is seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to join their team in a 0.7 FTE ongoing position starting Term 3, 2025. The role includes teaching a mix of junior and middle years classes in History and Business, with an additional primary PE component. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety and interdisciplinary teaching within a values-driven school environment.

Teaching Load Includes:

  • Year 7 Humanities

  • Year 10 History

  • Year 9 Business

  • History of Crime elective

  • Year 5/6 Sport

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach History, Business and junior Sport in line with the Victorian Curriculum

  • Build a respectful and inclusive classroom culture

  • Design and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons

  • Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary learning and assessment

  • Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NT Teacher Registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
