About the Position
The school is seeking an experienced and passionate HSIE Teacher to join their team in a full-time capacity from Term 3, 2025 . The successful candidate will teach across a range of Humanities and Social Sciences subjects, with the exact load tailored to their strengths. This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher who values student-centred learning and creative curriculum delivery.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Teach junior HSIE subjects

  • Teach senior Modern History

  • Develop engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote critical thinking
  • Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and assessment

  • Support student learning and wellbeing within a pastoral framework

  • Contribute to the life of the school through co-curricular programs

Requirements
  • Registration: Must hold or be eligible to obtain NESA Teacher Registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

  • Safeguarding: Two referees and HARKE onboarding process required
