About the PositionThe school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated HSIE Teacher with the ability to teach Accounting, Business and Humanities subjects across the secondary years. This full-time position is available as either an ongoing or fixed-term contract commencing Term 3, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and relevant learning experiences that develop students' critical thinking, analytical, financial literacy and problem-solving skills while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing faculty.
Skills and Responsibilities• Deliver Accounting, Business and Humanities curriculum in alignment with QCAA requirements and school expectations
• Uphold safeguarding practices and promote a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning and progress
• Collaborate with faculty members to develop curriculum, assessment and teaching programs
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement and success of the Humanities faculty and wider school community
