About the Position

The school is seeking an enthusiastic Health & Physical Education (HPE) Teacher for a Term 3 long service leave replacement. The role involves teaching the following classes:

  • Year 6: 6A, 6B, 6C

  • Year 7: 7B

  • Year 9: 9A, 9B

  • Year 10: 10B

Experience in coaching or supporting the school's sports programs would be highly regarded. The position can be full time or part time, depending on the successful candidate’s availability. Early career teachers and graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Delivery – Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned HPE lessons across Years 6–10.

  • Student Engagement – Foster a positive, inclusive, and active learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and participation.

  • Co-curricular Contribution – Support the school’s sports and physical activity programs where possible.

  • Collaboration – Work closely with colleagues to contribute to the professional and supportive staff culture.

  • Values Alignment – Model and uphold the school’s values in daily teaching practice.


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NT Teacher Registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
