About the Position
The school is seeking a committed HPE teacher to join the secondary team as soon as possible. The role involves delivering structured and engaging Health and Physical Education programs that support students’ physical development, wellbeing, and understanding of healthy lifestyles. The successful teacher will contribute to both classroom learning and practical activities, working collaboratively with colleagues to support student growth and participation.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Curriculum: Design and deliver effective Health and Physical Education programs aligned with curriculum requirements

  • Safeguarding: Promote student wellbeing and uphold Child Safe Standards

  • Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with students, staff, and families

  • Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to support creative and cross-curricular initiatives

  • Leadership: Model best practice and contribute positively to the school’s values and culture

Requirements

  • Registration: Current QCT registration or eligibility to obtain

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

  • Safeguarding: Ability to provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s safeguarding process
