About the Position

The school is seeking a motivated HPE Teacher to begin in Term 1, 2026. The role will involve teaching Health and Physical Education across junior and senior year levels, supporting students to build lifelong health, wellbeing, and physical literacy skills. The successful applicant will deliver engaging programs, foster teamwork and resilience, and contribute to the school’s sporting and co-curricular activities.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Teach Health and Physical Education across Years 7 to 12

• Build a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students

• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

• Collaborate with staff to deliver dynamic and innovative HPE programs

• Contribute to sporting events, co-curricular activities, and school wellbeing initiatives

Requirements

• Registration: Current NT Teacher Registration (TRB) or eligibility to obtain

• Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

• Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding process
